*This mattress has a hydrophobic valve that lets the mattress breath while keeping water, bugs, or other foreign materials out. If used with a cover, the valve plug can be removed for airflow and breathability. If used on its own, or outside, consider leaving the plug in for extra protection from the elements.

The treatment is Bluesign® approved, which means it meets rigorous independent environmental and product life cycle standards. It uses a low concentration of natural recycled silver salt (silver chloride) which is naturally found in both water and soil, to which effectively get rid of bacteria, fungi and other microbes. StayFresh® is applied in the last stages of the production, and is only active on the textile itself and interfere with your natural skin flora.
