Written Assembly Instructions

DEN Bed

  • The first step is to remove the plastic wrap from the mattress and bolster cushions which have been compressed for shipping.
  • Allow a couple minutes for each cushion to fully expand.
  • The Black Lab Den Bed comes with the bed cover, one round mattress, a front entryway pillow and 6 rectangle side pillows.
  • Start by positioning the bed cover on a flat surface, preferably, a large table or the floor, upside down and with the zipper webbing tab towards you.
  • Fully unzip the bottom of the cover and open it away from you.
  • Inside, you’ll see a zippered compartment. Unzip it and insert the round mattress with the quilted side facing down. Zip that compartment closed.
  • Next, starting at the back of the bed cover insert a rectangle pillow in the first compartment and zip the cover enough to cover the pillow. (Pillow should be inserted tall side first for all rectangle pillows)
  • Continue this process 2 more times. When you reach the front of the bed, insert the entryway bolster pillow into the front compartment with the pointed corners facing down. Zip the cover enough to cover the pillow.
  • Next, insert the additional 3 rectangle pillows in each of the remaining 3 compartments, zipping the cover cover over the pillows as you go. 
  • Tuck the zipper slider under the zipper webbing tab and flip the bed over. Adjust the side pillows as necessary. Your Den Bed is now ready.

VENTURE Car Bed
  • The first step is to remove the plastic wrap from the mattress and bolster cushions which have been compressed for shipping.
  • Allow a couple minutes for each cushion to fully expand.
  • The Black Lab Venture car bed comes with the bed cover, bolster cover, one rectangle mattress, 3 rectangle bolster pillows.
  • Start by positioning the bolster bed cover on a flat surface, preferably, a large table or the floor. Flip the cover inside out so that the zipper that runs along the button side of the bolsters is visible.
  • Fully unzip the bottom of the cover, opening the bolster compartments
  • Starting on one side, take one of the shorter pillows and insert it in the side compartment. Zip that compartment closed.
  • Next take the long, front side bolster and insert it into the front bolster compartment. Zip that compartment closed.
  • Insert the last, short side bolster into the alternate side bolster compartment and fully close the zipper.
  • Now flip the bolsters to hide the zipper on the inside of the car bed.
  • Next, find and unzip the rectangle mattress cover. Insert the mattress foam inside and zip closed. Insert the foam with the black side facing the non-skid bottom of the cover.
  • Insert the mattress into the bolster bed cover. Your car bed is now ready to be installed in your vehicle.

NOMAD (2-in-1) Bed
  • The first step is to remove the plastic wrap from the bolster cushions which have been compressed for shipping.
  • Allow a couple minutes for each cushion to fully expand.
  • The Black Lab Nomad bed comes with a pre-assemble bed (in tote bag), bolster cover, 2 small rectangle bolster pillows, and 2 large rectangle bolster pillows.
  • Start by positioning the bolster bed cover on a flat surface, preferably, a large table or the floor. Turn the cover upside down, with the non-skid (bumpy side) facing up.
  • Fully unzip the bottom of the cover, opening the bolster compartments.
  • Take one of the large bolsters and insert it along the front side of the cover. Make sure to pull it under the webbing patch. Close the zipper to the end of the bolster.
  • Next, take one of the short bolsters and insert it along the side of the cover. It should fit on the outside of the long bolster. Close the zipper to cover that bolster.
  • Now, grab the other long bolster and insert along the back. It should fit on the inside of the short bolster. Close the zipper to cover that bolster.
  • Take the other short bolster and insert along the other side. It should fit on the outside of the both long bolsters. Slide the zipper to fully close the cover.
  • Flip the assembled bolster over and the pre-assembled bed, from the tote bag, and place the bed in the middle of the bolster set.
